The exchange of sexual services, performances, or companionship for money or goods. Use to describe the broad spectrum of sex work, and use more specific terms if possible. For individuals who perform sex work, use "Sex workers" or narrower terms. For sex work undertaken by individuals who cannot or have not consented, use "Sex trafficking."
